Special Features

  • Compatibility: The SmallRig aluminum alloy cage kit 5503 is expertly designed for the Panasonic S1R II, S1 II, and S1 IIE. It protects your camera from impacts and scratches while allowing full access to buttons, ports, and battery compartments. The kit includes a cage, for HDMI and USB-C cable clamp, a top handle, and a magnetic dual-head wrench for easy assembly.
  • Three-Point Locking: The cage features a 1/4"-20 screw at the base and two locating blocks on the sides to secure the camera and prevent deflection. Built-in silicone pads protect your camera from scratches. Note: Please remove the side locating blocks before mounting.
  • Multiple Mounting Points: The cage includes built-in 1/4"-20 threaded holes, as well as 3/8"-16 locating holes for ARRI, cold shoe mounts, and strap slots. These allow for connections to accessories such as the camera handle (ID 3322), , monitor mounts (ID 2903B) and wrist straps (ID 3848), making it suitable for various shooting scenarios. Description

SmallRig "Black Mamba" Cage Kit for Panasonic S1R II / S1 II / S1 IIE 5503 is engineered to optimize handheld shooting, portability, and accessory expansion. The kit includes a cage, a for HDMI & USB-C cable clamp, and a top handle. The ergonomic top handle provides a comfortable grip for easy transport and low-angle shooting.
For enhanced functionality, the cage and top handle are equipped with multiple 1/4"-20 threaded holes and for ARRI 3/8"-16 locating holes for attaching various accessories, such as top handles (ID 3322),, and monitor mounts (ID 2903B). Multiple cold shoe mounts allow for the mounting of microphones and lights, while a NATO rail on the cage's left side accommodates rotating NATO side handles (ID 3260).

The built-in for Arca-swiss baseplate facilitates direct mounting to tripods for Arca-type and for dji RS stabilizers (RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 Pro / RS 3 / RS 4 Pro / RS 4 / RS 4 Mini). Additional threaded holes at the bottom ensure compatibility with quick release plates for dji RS 2 / RSC 2 and for Arca-swiss quick release plates (ID 3154).

Precautions:
Before installing the cage, remove the locating blocks on both sides using the bottom wrench.
