The dual capacitor is designed to connect to the fan motor (FAN) and compressor motor (HERM) in your HVAC system. The function of the capacitor is for start-up and operation of the AC motors, such as in Heat Pumps or Air Conditioning units (Condenser Straight Cool systems). It is small in size, lightweight, heat resisting and anti-explosion.
Is this capacitor compatible with my system?Step 1) First check our Compatible Model list below. If your part number matches one of those, then yes it is compatible. If not, then continue to Step 2.
Step 2) If your model is not in the Compatible Model List, then simply answer the questions below. If you answer yes to all of the questions, then this model is compatible.

Q1.) What capacitance values are stated on your old capacitor. There should be two and the units of measure might be shown as "uF" or "MFD". If your capacitor states 35/5, 35+5 or 5/35, 5+35 etc. then it's a match.
Q2.) What voltage is your old capacitor? If it's less than or equal to 440V then it's a match.
Q3.) Check the physical size and place where the capacitor is to be mounted. The size does not have to match. You just want to make sure you have enough room to fit the new capacitor. Look at the pictures in our listing for the actual size of our capacitor. Our capacitors are designed to be slightly smaller so that they will easily fit in almost all systems.
