The QSFP-40G-SR-BD is a high-performance, cost-effective QSFP+ transceiver module designed for short-reach data center applications. Using innovative Bi-Directional (BiDi) technology, this module transmits and receives 40 Gigabit Ethernet (40GbE) signals over a single pair of multi-mode fiber (MMF) using standard LC connectors. With support for up to 100 meters over OM3 and 150 meters over OM4 fiber, the QSFP-40G-SR-BD enables simple, low-cost upgrades from 10G to 40G without replacing the existing cabling infrastructure.
