Special Features

  • Includes rail bolts (3 1/2" x 5/16"), shoulder nuts, plastic curved washers, and 1 inch tapered wood plugs. Available in a set of 5 (five of each part) or a set of 10 (ten of each part).
  • Available in Alder, Cedar, Cherry, Hemlock Fir, Hickory, Mahogany, Maple, Poplar, Red Oak, Walnut, White Oak, or Vertical Grain Fir (VG Fir).
  • These rail bolt kits are the traditional and common method for attaching staircase handrails to handrail, fittings, newels, wall rosettes, walls, or fittings to fittings. They create a strong joint and eliminates unsightly screws or nail holes.
  • The tapered plugs are face grain and slightly over 1" so that they will fit snuggly into a 1" hole.

Description

These rail bolt kits are the traditional and common method for attaching staircase handrails to handrail, fittings, newels, wall rosettes, walls, or fittings to fittings. They create a strong joint and eliminates unsightly screws or nail holes.
