Tips:
Water system MCE (mixed cellulose ester): MCE membrane is made of nitric acid and cellulose acetate. It has hydrophilic properties, good biocompatibility and low protein adsorption properties. MCE membranes are often used for filtration of biological solutions, biological analysis and water quality control.
Water system PES (polyethersulfon): PES membrane has asymmetric porous structure in its cross section to ensure high flow rate and high rejection. Used for filtration of water solution. It has good chemical stability and inert, alkaline PH stability, high compatibility and good temperature stability.
Nylon: Nylon films are naturally hydrophilic and are made of polyamide. Use without wetting agent, to ensure that the filtrate does not become contaminated. The filter membrane is suitable for the filtration of aqueous solutions and most mild organic solutions, especially alkaline and alcoholic solutions. Due to the high absorbability of nylon membrane, it is generally not recommended to use it for the filtration of biological samples such as culture medium or protein solution, to avoid loss of samples by adsorption.
