The Bourne Carbon Ti is a blade intended for intermediate level players who prefer a soft feel when hitting the ball. Its design and features make this blade a very interesting option to increase power in the game. MATERIALS The Bourne Carbon Ti is made using a bidirectional carbon tubular. The core is 38mm SOFTCOLOR CORE EVA rubber of medium hardness, and is laminated through layers of carbon and fiberglass fabric, and reinforced with carbon fiber. All fabrics are impregnated with Varlion's exclusive VAR-FLEX epoxy resin, and covered with a layer of titanium dioxide. SHAPE This blade is made with the BOURNE shape, a hybrid that is born from the fusion of the traditional diamond (power blades) and teardrop (balanced blades) shapes. It is an exclusive form of Varlion that adds a control point to the offensive blades, giving us 60% power and 40% control. TECHNOLOGY AERODYNAMIC DRILLING According to studies carried out in fluid software for aerodynamic studies, it has been shown that drilling the center of the blade generates turbulence, which is why the Bourne Carbon Ti has a novel drilling system known as Aerodynamic Drilling. Thanks to this technology we achieve more resistance in the core and greater homogeneity in the hits, which generates an increase in the sweet spot of the blade. SOFTCOLOR Softcolor is an aesthetic innovation that colors the rubber to match the aesthetics of the blade. This feature brings a colorful, elegant and novel touch to the Bourne Carbon Ti. HEXAFORCE Hexaforce refers to the bridge of the blade, which has been designed by Varlion to provide greater rigidity and stability to the area, as well as to better channel the passage of air and achieve superior aerodynamics. HEXAGON FRAME AND PROTECTOR The Hexagon frame reinforces one of the most sensitive areas of the blade and provides greater resistance to avoid possible breakage. The Bourne Carbon Ti includes an adhesive protector which fits perfectly with this hexagonal frame. SLICE TEXTURE Slice is the name given to the most effective rough texture on the market. They are a series of curved lines arranged on the face of the blade in both directions. This allows both left and right handed players to increase spin when hitting slices. HANDLESAFETY TECHNOLOGY Handlesafety is the security system that the handle of the blade has. Usually the blades are manufactured with a hole centered in the handle from which the rope comes out. This method sometimes fails and the situation may arise that the blade detaches from the string, causing an error in the game and a dangerous situation for all players. Handlesafety technology has solved this problem, since the rope passes through the two walls of the handle and thus prevents the blade and the rope from separating.
