Special Features

  • Inline Manual Reset GFCI: This protection device is manually wired into a cable. The manual reset is a safety feature, so that in the event of an electrical short, it will not automatically reset and cause farther damage or harm.
  • Waterproof Housing: The device is rated for exposure to water, and comes with silicon caulk tubes. When terminating the wires, use the silicon caulk to create a waterproof seal before screwing shut the enclosure.
  • User Attachable Device: This device is sold as is, and will need to be installed into the necissary wire onsite by a trained proffesional. All required pieces are included in this kit, besides the tools required. Only a trained proffesional is advised to install this equipment, as it required termination of current carrying conductors.
  • High Power Device: Rated for up to 20 Amps and 240 Volts, this device can be used in a system powering high powered equipment.

Description

The Inline GFCI kit comes with all neccisary components to attach this GFCI to cordage to add Ground Fault Circuit Interuption protection to an electrical circuit. The kit comes with the Manual Reset GFCI, along with 2 tubes of Silicon Caulk and 2 coverplates with screws. The caulk should be used after termination of connections. This should be installed by a licensed profesional.
