Protec is woven from thousands of nylon filaments and as it is scuffed and worn, its filaments form a thicker protective shield. It protects hose from abrasion and degradation and offers limited protection from the effects of hose bursting and pinhole occurrences. This smooth-bore sleeve allows bundling and is easily installed over hoses, chains, wires, cables or springs, and may be secured with nylon cable ties or band clamps.
