Special Features

  • Centri-Spin 10 spin columns are used for the fast and efficient purification of larger molecules (proteins, nucleic acids, complex carbohydrates, etc.), from small molecules (nucleotides, buffer salts, etc.). The Centri-Spin 10 gel will provide excellent recovery of DNA fragments with sizes greater than 10 base pairs or 10-mer, while removing > 98 % of salts, NTP's and other unwanted low-molecular-weight impurities.
  • Each Centri-Spin 10 unit consists of a specially fritted microfuge tube, dry gel, a wash tube and a, Standard Plastic Bottle Caps (Pack of 10).
  • The microfuge tube is made of high-quality polypropylene and has a conical shape, providing a uniform and efficient separation of particles. The dry gel is made of hydrophilic agarose and has a high capacity for binding and retaining larger molecules.
  • The wash tube is made of polypropylene and has a volume of 10 mL, allowing for thorough washing and elution of the purified DNA fragments.
  • The, Standard Plastic Bottle Caps (Pack of 10) are used to seal the wash tube and microfuge tube, preventing contamination and ensuring the safety of the samples.

Description

The Centri-Spin 10 Spin Column is a centrifugal device used for the rapid and efficient purification of larger molecules (proteins, nucleic acids, complex carbohydrates, etc.) from small molecules (nucleotides, buffer salts, etc.). It is made of high-quality polypropylene and has a capacity of 10ml. The column is designed to provide excellent recovery of DNA fragments with sizes greater than 10 base pairs or 10-mer, while removing > 98 % of salts, NTP's and other unwanted low-molecular-weight impurities. Each Centri-Spin 10 spin column comes with a specially fritted microfuge tube, dry gel, a wash tube, and a standard plastic bottle cap (pack of 10). It is easy to use and can be used with a variety of sample types, including blood, tissue, and cell culture.
