Polycarbonate Strength: This vented SuperATV windshield is made with 1/4” polycarbonate to make it as strong as possible. It's 250 times stronger than glass and 25 times stronger than acrylic, making it ideal for wild off-road adventure where rocks and branches can get in the way. Includes a Pre-Installed Bulb Seal for easy install.
XR Optic Hard Coating: Our vented windshields get our proprietary XR Optic Hard coating on both sides of the material. It makes them more abrasion and scratch resistant. Plus, it's UV-resistant too.

We use 1/4" polycarbonate on this Yamaha RMAX vented windshield because it's the strongest side-by-side windshield material, and it's exactly what you need for protection. It's 250 times stronger than glass and 25 times stronger than acrylic making it resistant to rocks and low hanging branches.
