This module supports gigabit single-mode fiber connections, capable of spanning up to 40 kilometers (24.8 miles) with a 1310nm wavelength. It operates within a wide temperature range of -40° to 85°C (-40° to 185°F), making it ideal for use in harsh industrial, manufacturing, or campus environments. The TI-MGBS40 is hot-pluggable and compatible with MSA-compliant SFP slots, offering flexibility with fiber cables that use duplex LC connectors.
