These are medium sized broken pieces of red nakumatt clay. Hard and roasted clay which breaks down into multiple shards and snappy till the last bit, doesn't stick in water and has no grit. It has earthy (topsoil) smell and cementy earthiness smell when put into water. It has red hues on the outer surface.
