Easy to Use Sealing solid foods (i.e. nuts, fruits, crackers, etc.):Leave 0.5 inch space between the food and top of the jar rim prior to sealing. Sealing soft foods or liquids (i.e. yogurt, jellies, juice, etc.): Leave 1 inch space between the food and top of the jar rim prior to sealing. *Lid will not seal if there is debris between the bottom of the lid and top of the jar rim. Wipe the rim of the jar prior to sealing and ensure the lid is clean. Place the correct lid size on the jar.
