The pump is constructed of rugged cast iron and non-corrosive thermoplastic and the 1/3 HP, 115 V, 60 Hz oil-cooled motor includes automatic thermal and overload protection. It is ideal for frequent drainage and has a 1 ½” discharge with a reducer for 1 ¼” discharge pipe. backup submersible sump pump system is designed for use in residential applications as an auxiliary pump for your sump pump. It includes a 12V submersible sump pump, a tethered float switch, a battery case for a marine, deep cycle battery (battery not included), a 115V AC to 12V DC power supply and trickle charger, and a check valve. The system is compatible with most electrical sump pump brands and can be installed on existing or separate discharge piping. The tethered float switch ensures automatic operation of the pump and can be used in 14-inch diameter basins or larger. The maximum head is 10 feet and the capacity is up to 1600 GPH.
