Special Features

  • Provides UPS with stable 5V, 2A max. Uses one Li-Ion or Li-Polymer battery. Max charge current is 0.5 Amps. Battery is not included.
  • Includes Battery management system (BMS). Ensures battery charges automatically when power returns.
  • On board ADC measures Input Voltage, Output Voltage, Battery Voltage and Temperature. Sample Python code enables you to monitor these and shutdown the Pi when Power fails and battery runs low.
  • Can install an On/Off switch. Off position cuts off all power to the Pi. Use a 2.54mm cable connector for the switch (see Amazon B07FXXDN2M).
  • LED provide indication when battery is being charged. LED off when battery is full.

Description

PiZ-UpTime UPS 2.0 provides UPS for a Raspberry Pi Zero, Pi A and other USB Single Board Computers (SBC) such as Odroid, Asus and other IoT devices. PiZ-UpTime provides space at the bottom of the board to install the battery making it a nice compact form factor UPS. On board ADC measure necessary operating parameters. BATTERIES NOT INCLUDED. Recommend a PKCELL 802030 400mA or an 18650 battery. See pictures.
