The SharkBite Push to Connect Ball Valve with Drain is an excellent way to install a new or replacement shut-off ball valve. The single lever control allows for easy operation, and the ball valve handle features drop ear mounting tabs for stability. The brass ball valve features a drain vent and cap to allow water to drain from the line, and is compatible with any combination of copper, PEX, CPVC or PE-RT pipe. No soldering, glue or tools are necessary, its innovative push to connect technology allows you to simply insert the pipe and the stainless steel teeth bite down and grip tight, while a specially formulated O-ring compresses to create a perfect seal. The fitting can be easily disassembled using a disconnect tool so that fittings and valves can be easily changed and reused (Disconnect tool not included). The push connect shut off valve can be easily rotated on pipe after installation in tight spaces, and is rated for 200 psi and 200 degrees F.
