The SN74HC595N is an 8-bit serial input, parallel output shift register with a tri-state parallel output. On the rising edge in SCK, serial data is input by SDL into the internal 8-bit shift register and output by Q7, while the parallel output is the data that is stored in the 8-bit shift register in the rising edge of LCK, bit parallel output.
