The Comark Instruments KM28KIT dual-range type-K thermocouple kit measures temperature from -40 to +1,000 degrees F (-40 to +500 degrees C), comes with a reduced tip probe, and has a sub-miniature connector. This kit is used for measuring air or liquid temperature in food processing, refrigeration, and industrial environments. The included PK19M probe measures 3.5" and has a 1.5mm tip for reduced impact. The sensor has a sub-miniature port for attaching other type-K probes (sold separately), and its LCD screen displays temperature readings. A fitted rubber boot provides protection from dust and water. The unit operates on one 9V battery, and turns off automatically after a period of non-use to conserve battery life. It comes with instructions, a probe, a battery, and a rubber boot.
