---Difference between semiconductor and infrared models---

Semiconductor Model:
Semiconductor model built-in TVOC sensor, is to determine the co2 content by measuring the organic gas content in the air.
The organic gas content and the co2 content are remaining in a stable ratio range, so we can deduce the co2 content by measuring the organic gas content.
The advantage of this model is fast test response, but the disadvantage is that it will be interfered by other gases, resulting in a little error in the test, which is suitable for the needs of ordinary families.

Infrared Model:
The infrared model co2 detector uses NDIR type co2 sensor, which is an optical sensor. The infrared model works by testing the reception time of infrared light to the other end to determine the co2 content.
The infrared model does not use a TVOC sensor, but a NDIR sensor. The accuracy of this model is very high. So the working principle of infrared is used in industrial co2 gas measuring equipment.
Please do not test the detector directly with a high concentration of alcohol, this is not the correct way to use it, and doing so is likely to damage the built-in sensor.
