  • The Sony Planar T* FE 50mm f/1.4 ZA Lens, with its standard perspective, high-end design, and swift maximum aperture, is a prime choice for full-frame E-mount shooters. The quick f/1.4 maximum aperture provides exceptional performance in low-light conditions and allows for the creation of effects with a shallow depth of field.
  • This lens, which is based on the Zeiss Planar optical concept, incorporates a 12-element, 9-group design that not only enables a large maximum aperture of f/1.4 but also helps to reduce chromatic aberrations. It's a standard-length prime lens designed for full-frame E-mount mirrorless cameras, but it's also compatible with APS-C models, where it offers an equivalent focal length of 75mm.
  • The lens design incorporates an extra-low dispersion element to minimize chromatic aberrations and color fringing, enhancing clarity and color accuracy. The autofocus system, powered by a ring drive Super Sonic wave Motor, along with an internal focus mechanism, ensures fast, silent, and accurate autofocus performance. The lens offers an almost distortion-free image thanks to the Zeiss Planar optical design. It also minimizes spherical and chromatic aberrations with the help of one Advanced Aspherical, one aspherical, and one extra-low dispersion element. Additionally, the renowned Zeiss T* anti-reflective coating reduces flare and ghosting, ensuring clear and crisp images.
