This heavy duty hand planer was designed to deliver power, precision and professional looking results. Compared to similar priced planers, you'll be absolutely amazed with the amount of power and control that the 8-amp motor delivers. Equipped with two high quality blade cutters, the unit can plane up to 4-3/8 inches wide with a 16,000 rpm for smooth material removal, and can deliver 32,000 cuts per minute for project workflow and efficiency.
The POWERTEC hand planer has a double-sided dust extraction port that allows for project flexibility, depending on which side (left or right) of your work area you need to keep clean – free of sawdust and debris. The dust extraction adapter is included, and accommodates most popular dust hoses. The adjustable depth knob offers a 16 positive step setting that gives you more control and a variety of depth options. The two front facing chamfering grooves are V-shaped and are excellent options for optimal edging. A tool park rest has been added for additional safety and protection, helping to prevent any unintentional blade-to-workpiece contact during down time.
