COPIC Original Markers are made with permanent, non-toxic, alcohol-based ink. Each marker has two ends one is a standard broad nib for thick strokes and the other a fine tip nib for detailed work. COPIC also makes 9 other nib options that are compatible with the COPIC Originals. The ink dries acid-free and when they run out you can just refill them with COPIC refills!
