Description
Spec:
Item Type: Clutch Master Cylinder Aluminum Reservoir
Material: Aluminum
Application: Effective storage of clutch hydraulic oil, to provide stable hydraulic power for the clutch system, so that the vehicle can smoothly shift and start.
Details: Double O ring seal ensures no chance of escape. Once positioned, set screws lock the reservoir in place. The diaphragm allows fluid movement without air interacting with the brake fluid. This is crucial because brake fluid is hygroscopic (absorbs from the air) and can cause premature clutch fatigue and overheating.
Fitment:
For civic eg 92-95
For civic ek 96-00
For integra dc2 94-01
How to Use:
To make changes without repositioning the clutch system:
First, place a towel or absorbent cloth under the cmc. You do not want the brake fluid to touch any paint. You can use a syringe or absorbent towel to slowly suck out the liquid in the container. Once the brake fluid is low enough, you can remove the tank.
Apply a small amount of lubricant/oil to the O ring before installation. Slowly press the new reservoir against the cmc, making sure not to throw or tear the O ring.
After installing the cmc, use proper screws to lock the CMC in place.
