Give students these letters at the beginning of school to fill in with information about themselves, and add a photo or self-portrait. When they're finished, ask them to fold them up and place them in the matching envelopes. Then collect and store the envelopes. At the end of the year, pass them back for students to complete with new information and a new photo. They'll enjoy comparing new and old information and seeing how much they've changed.
