Mifare Desfire EV1 4K is NXP's latest offering in the Desfire range and is ideal for combining multiple applications on a single card, including but not limited to transport, leisure, access control and loyalty systems. Mifare Desfire EV1 4K chips feature a unique 7 byte identifier (UID), operate at a frequency of 13.56MHz and can hold up to 28 different applications, with 32 files per application. The size and access of each file is specified at the point of creation, making Desfire EV1 as flexible as you need it to be. Mifare Desfire EV1 features a built in backup management system and authentication protocols to protect and secure data. Mifare Desfire EV1 is fully compatible with the existing Mifare reader hardware platform, easing the transition from Mifare Classic to Mifare Desfire.
