Super Stars cooling system pressure tester and vacuum refill tool kit lets you diagnose and fix cooling system issues quickly so you can get back on the road or track faster. Once you've found and fixed your leak, use the vacuum purge&refill tools to fill the cooling system and avoid hours of waiting for the air to bubble out on its own.
Radiator Pressure Tester Check for leakage:
1.Refer to the vehicle's service manual for specific radiator pressure testing instruction.
2.After the vehicle's cooling system has cooled, loosen the vehicle's radiator cap slowly to relieve any excess pressure before removing the cap completely. Never open the cooling system while it is hot. Serious injury could result.
3.Select the proper adapter and configuration of the stationary seat accessories. Securely attach the adapter to the filler neck of the radiator or expansion tank.
4.Attach the quick connector of the hand pump onto the adapter.
5.Rapidly pump the hand pump handle while watching the pressure gauge. Pressurize the radiator up to the optimal pressure only
AVOID OVER PRESSURIZE THE RADIATOR. Ideal readings should range between 15-20PSI(1.03-1.37BAR);
6.Once the test complete, release the air pressure by pressing the release valve on the hand pump. Then disconnect the quick coupler and adapter assembly.
Refill Cooling System:
1.Connect the coolant hose to the coolant hose quick coupler and submerge in coolant.
2. Assure that valve is in the closed position and that there is coolant in the coolant hose.
3.Turn valve to the open position to allow the coolant to refill the cooling system.
4.The refill is complete when the gauge reads 0.
Note: Please check the coolant level and add coolant as necessary to the proper level.
