If you are a user of ASTM D3359, then you may be familiar with the Permacel P-99 tape. For many years it was specifically listed as suitable for adhesion testing via ASTM D3359. Unfortunately, Permacel discontinued the manufacture of P-99, leaving users of the D3359 wondering how they can maintain some level of consistency and continuity in their testing processes. As respected members of the adhesion testing community, and as ASTM members ourselves, we undertook the challenge of finding possible alternatives. Now we are happy to offer a suitable replacement that meets the tight specifications listed in ASTM D3359 and will provide you with the consistency you require for your tape adhesion testing program.
