The Nike Space Hippie 02 “Grey/Volt” was created exclusively for Nike's “Space Hippie” collection from Summer 2020. Composed of “space junk,” which amounts to leftover scraps from Nike's cutting room floor, the Space Hippie 02 model is a brand new silhouette that imagines what life would be like with little in the way of supply and materials. The sock-like woven upper is finished off in grey fabric and features a Volt dotted Swoosh on the forefoot and mid-panel. A black nylon ribbon takes the place of where a traditional lacing system would appear on the shoe. The FoamX midsole displays speckled detailing and the outside reveals a “space junk” design.
