All Hayden fan clutches are made from high quality components and feature O.E. fit and performance. Low cost alternative for some standard thermal clutches. They are always engaged, less fuel savings than a thermal clutch. It spins at about 30-60 percentage of the water pump speed. Also has a shorter life expectancy. It is identified by the smooth, steel faceplate, (without a thermal spring assembly), on the front.
