Plugable's Mini DisplayPort to DVI passive adapter allows you to connect from a Dual-Mode DisplayPort (DP++)/Thunderbolt 2 output on your Mac or PC laptop, desktop, or tablet to virtually any DVI-enabled display. Passive adapters rely on the DisplayPort source output supporting DP++ in order to pass video signals to a DVI display. Our adapter supports resolutions up to 1920x1200 @ 60Hz refresh rate. Compatibility Plugable's MDPM-DVIF adapter is compatible with systems that have a Dual-Mode DisplayPort output port (DP++) on a PC or Apple laptop, desktop or tablet to add a DVI capable monitor, TV or projector. This adapter is not bi-directional and will not convert in the other direction. Note: Dual-Mode Mini DisplayPort source ports are often noted with a DP++ symbol next to the port itself.
