The Refrigerator Auger Motor powers the arm inside the ice bucket assembly, allowing ice to flow freely from the dispenser in the front of the appliance. If the auger in your freezer is no longer dispensing the ice properly, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. This part includes the mounting screws needed for installation. Note that in some refrigerator models the new motor will not fit into the original bracket. If you run into this issue during installation, order item 4546350 for the new bracket. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the appliance and novice repair experience.
