The Mudtools Small Shredder is a precision shaping tool built for refining leather-hard clay. Smaller than the standard Flat or Curved Shredder, it offers greater control in tighter areas while still removing material efficiently and cleanly. Its stainless-steel shredding surface cuts evenly without clogging, making it ideal for thinning walls, defining curves, cleaning up edges, and adjusting proportions. Whether you're refining a bowl rim, tightening a foot, or smoothing transitions between forms, the Small Shredder gives you controlled material removal without tearing or gouging the surface. The flexible polymer body conforms naturally to curved surfaces, helping maintain steady contact and even pressure as you shape. After shredding, surfaces are easily refined further with ribs or sponges. Designed and manufactured in the USA by Mudtools, the Small Shredder is a dependable studio essential for potters who demand accuracy, durability, and professional results.
