The wear-away Swoosh fades overtime from Light Blue to Speed Yellow, nodding to the process that Rattray says "we go through when dealing with emotional challenges, and the work required to get back to a solid baseline of happiness." As the first SB shoe designed specifically for a snug fit, it's built for exceptional comfort and board control so you can let loose and let your movement bring the positivity into focus. Of course, the easy-to-break-in suede feels great straight out of the box, while embroidered graphics remind you again and again to move, talk and ask, "Why So Sad?" Clad in mid-brown suede and leather uppers, the pair keeps things sweet with caramel-colored tongue tags and rear panels, with light gum sole units underfoot to continue the saccharine theme. From there, honeycomb laces and tangle branding add more delightful touches before being completed by sets of wear-away blue Swooshes along the midfoot.
