Wet Packed - Chemi-Pure is packaged wet (or more accurately, moist) for several key reasons related to its effectiveness and shelf stability.
Pre-Activated Media - Chemi-Pure contains activated carbon and ion exchange resins that are most effective when moist. Wet packaging ensures the carbon remains activated and ready to use immediately—no rinsing or soaking is needed.
Minimizing Dust & Breakage - The moisture in the packaging also: Reduces the amount of carbon dust, making it cleaner to handle and less likely to cloud the water upon use. Helps maintain the structural integrity of the resin beads, which can become brittle if dried.
