Overview

The USB TO RS485 (C) is an industrial-grade isolated USB to RS485 converter adapter designed for wired serial communication, equipment debugging, data acquisition, automation control and embedded
development projects. It converts USB signals into balanced differential RS485 signals for stable bidirectional communication.

This USB RS485 Serial Converter uses an original FT232RNL chip, offering reliable performance, strong compatibility and stable data transmission. It supports communication rates from 300bps to 512000bps,
making it suitable for various RS485 serial communication applications.

For improved stability in industrial and electrical environments, the adapter integrates an isolated RS485 transceiver, ESD protection and TVS protection. It also includes resettable fuses and protection diodes
to help reduce the impact of over-current, over-voltage and transient spike conditions.

The RS485 transmission distance can reach up to about 1.2km under suitable wiring and environment conditions, while the USB side supports about 5m cable length. This makes the USB to RS485 Converter
suitable for long-distance wired communication between computers and RS485 devices.

The adapter supports multiple operating systems, including Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows XP, Linux, Mac, Android and WinCE. Onboard status LEDs indicate power
and data transceiver activity, helping users check the working state during testing and debugging.
