Description

800G OSFP VR8 Optical Transceiver Module The 800G OSFP VR8 Optical Transceiver Module is a high-speed 800Gbps optical transceiver designed for next-generation data center, AI computing, cloud networking and high-performance computing applications. Featuring an OSFP form factor and 800GBASE-VR8 architecture, the module provides high-density optical connectivity through an 8-channel parallel optical interface. It operates at a nominal 850nm wavelength over multimode fiber and is designed for short-reach data center interconnects. The module supports a typical transmission distance of up to 30 meters over OM3 fiber and up to 50 meters over OM4/OM5 fiber, making it suitable for short-distance connections within AI clusters, server racks and data center environments. With its 800Gbps bandwidth, OSFP package and MPO optical interface, the VR8 transceiver is designed for high-density Ethernet networking and demanding AI/HPC workloads where high bandwidth and efficient optical connectivity are required.
