【Which Nikon Z cameras is it compatible with?】Fringer EF-NZ II Lens Mount Adapter is compatible with all current Nikon Z-mount cameras. Full Compatibility List: Z9, Z8 - Flagship professional bodies; Z7, Z7II - High-resolution full-frame cameras; Z6, Z6II - Balanced full-frame models; Zf - Retro-styled full-frame camera; Z50 - APS-C mirrorless camera; Zfc - Retro APS-C model. The adapter maintains full functionality regardless of whether you're using a full-frame Z camera (Z6/Z7 series, Z8/Z9, Zf) or APS-C models (Z50, Zfc). All the Canon EF lenses in the compatibility list work the same way across the entire Z-mount system.
【Autofocus vs Manual focus】You have excellent options for both manual and autofocus operation:Autofocus Performance. Phase Detection AF (PDAF), Face/eye detection, Single (AF-S) and Continuous (AF-C), Speed adjustable. General photography, moving subjects, video interviews, when speed matters. Manual Focus: Full manual override, Focus peaking, Magnification. Best for: Video work requiring smooth focus pulls, macro photography, low light situations. The adapter maintains full electronic communication, so you get the best of both worlds - reliable autofocus when you need it, and smooth manual override when precision matters.
【Does continuous AF work well?】Yes, Fringer EF-NZ II adapter supports continuous autofocus (AF-C) with strong performance when conditions are optimal. How It Works: - Phase detection autofocus (PDAF) is supported across all focus points in both still and video modes. - Face/eye detection AF tracks moving subjects continuously—great for portraits and video. - AF speed adjustment available through the camera menu for smooth focus transitions (varies by lens and light conditions). - AF speed depends on lighting conditions and lens model (it tends to struggle in very low light). - Works reliably for most video work and moving subjects in daylight.
【Full EXIF data recording and lens information】Lens model; Focal length range; Aperture range; Current focal length; Current Aperture. Image stabilization support (both lens IS and body IBIS), lens stabilization and body image stabilization are supported, but the two cannot work together and can only choose one. With USB port for firmware upgrade. Solid and durable, Full metal body and brass mounts, high precision CNC made, flocking inside minimized the internal reflection.
