The outlet ITSELF is rated for 20 Amps, the LEFT slot (neutral) is shaped like a sideways letter "T" or "┴". This T-slot is only found on 20 Amp outlets.
Connecting Wires Methods: Push-in terminals OR Screw terminals. To avoid any worry or limits, WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND USING THE SCREW TERMINALS (the places where you wrap the wire under a screw and tighten it down). Using the screws is safe for both 15 Amp and 20 Amp circuits (with the correct wire size for each).
