  • ESCAPE RING DESIGN – South Carolina requires escape vents for blue crab pots. Two-chamber crab pots must have at least two unobstructed circular escape rings measuring 2-3/8" or greater inside diameter, with at least one in the upper chamber.
  • OPTIONAL YELLOW BUOY KIT – Buoy kit variations include a yellow 6" PVC marker buoy, 30' sinking rope, and stopper. South Carolina recreational crab pot floats must be yellow, and round floats must be at least 6" in diameter.
