Special Features

  • 1 meter (3.2 ft) power cable includes an inline 3 amp APM/ATM fuse and an intergrated tee for direct connection to the backbone cables.
  • For ease of installation while minimising cost and weight, consider running marine quality wire from your electrical control panel supply to connect to this power cable in the vicinity of the N2K backbone.
  • 18 AWG power conductors are used to to reduce voltage drop, provide better reliability and meet the requirements of ABYC and the USCG for minimum size power conductors.
  • This power cable is designed to power a NMEA 2000 backbone. It is NOT a power cable for any particular standalone device.

Description

This fused power cable is used to provide ships 12 volt battery power to your NMEA 2000 (N2k) backbone. It terminates with an intergrated N2K T-Connector for direct connection to the backbone cables. Normally one power cable is used for the backbone, but a second one may be used in the event the system has many devices and sensors. PLEASE NOTE, If you are looking for a power cable for a particular standalone device, this isn't it.
