The Stuart SA8 Vortex Mixer has variable speed of 200 to 2,500rpm for gentle shaking to rapid vortexing of samples, and can be operated by touch or in continuous mode. This mixer comes with a cup head for mixing a single test tube. Additional accessories (sold separately) are available for holding microplates, beakers, flasks, micro-centrifuge tubes, and other vessels. A retort rod fixing on the unit accepts a threaded retort rod (sold separately) for securing vessels during long-term mixing. The mixer has a die-cast body with a low-profile design for stability.
