Installation Steps:
Turn off the printer and allow the hotend area to cool before replacement.
Measure the required PTFE tube length according to your printer feeding path.
Use a suitable tube cutter or sharp cutting tool to cut the tube vertically. A straight cut helps create a flat tube end for installation.
Insert the tube into the pneumatic connector, extruder interface, or filament feed path according to your printer structure.
Gently push the filament through the tube to check whether the filament moves properly.
Start printing and observe the feeding status during first use.
Maintenance Recommendations:
Regularly check the tube end and inner path for residue, deformation, or wear. After extended printing use, check whether the tube has aging, hardening, or increased feeding resistance. If the filament does not move smoothly or the tube end becomes worn, replacing the tube section may help maintain proper filament movement. When cutting a new section, keep the cut as straight as possible for better installation.
