  • USER FRIENDLY INSTALLATION: The specially designed AGC function simplifies installation and network maintenance along with an AGC circuit compensating changes in optical input power within 8dBm~+2dBm providing a stable RF output level.
  • LOW DISTORTION: GaAs FET technology provides low distortion and a flexible input level along with low power consumption and surge design in a bi-directional application. Provides excellent AGC characteristics, when the input optical power range is within -8dbm~+3dBm, the RF output level remains unchanged, CTB and CSO remain unchanged. The return 1310nm optical transmitter can also be supplied in FP, DFB and CWDM.

Description

FiberShack's FTTH mini two-way optical receiver is a state of the art fiber node designed for FTTH (fiber to the home) applications. With a receive frequency range of 54-870MHz, the unit offers flexibility in operation and maintenance while GaAs FET technology provides low distortion and a flexible input level. Featuring low power consumption and a surge protected design, the unit is perfect in both commercial and residential applications. The node also features an integrated return path transmitter with a reverse frequency range of 5-42MHz if operating in a 1550nm transmitting environment. The automatic gain control (AGC) function has been specially designed to simplify installation and network maintenance by compensating for changes in optical input power. The unit provides a stable RF output level when fed with input levels between -8dBm and +3dBm.
