Special Features

  • Designed for grooving and multi-directional turning. Use to generate grooves, arcs and angles. Offset to allow cutting along a shoulder.
  • For grooving up to .063" deep. Inserts can be used for ID and face grooving and profiling.
  • For ID grooving, use LH 'MGT' toolholder. For face grooving, use RH 'MGTF' toolholder. Minimum bore and reach into bore determined when matched with toolholder.
  • Uncoated DURA-MAX 2000 carbide grooving insert for steel, cast iron and stainless steel with interrupted cuts.
