Description

Tetrahydroduran, also known as Diethylene oxide, Oxolane, Tetramethylene oxide, or THF is a cyclic ether with the formula C4H80. Tetrahydrofuran is a colorless, volatile liquid, which is used as a solvent for natural and synthetic resins, particularly vinyls, in topcoating solutions, polymer coating, cellophane, protective coatings, adhesives, magnetic tapes, printing inks, etc., Grignard reactions, lithium aluminum hydride reductions, and polymerizations; chemical intermediate and monomer.
