Description

The EMX IRB-MON2 is a universal UL325-compliant thru-beam photoeye kit designed as an external entrapment protection device for automatic gates, doors, and barriers. It provides a clear beam-obstructed signal to the operator and supports four monitoring methods to match a wide range of monitored operator boards, including 10K resistive termination, 2-wire pulse (2 frequency), 2-wire pulse (3 frequency), and Normally Closed monitoring. With a 5 to 115 ft range and an IP65-rated enclosure for indoor or outdoor installations, the IRB-MON2 is built for dependable alignment and reliable operation in changing environments. Power input supports 6-35 VDC or 12-24 VAC, and output is via Form C relay contacts (NO/COM/NC). The kit includes transmitter and receiver with integrated protective hoods and a removable lens sunshield
