BME280 is a small package, low-power digital multi-sensor based on APSM technology, which can measure environmental temperature, humidity and atmospheric pressure. It is backward compatible with BMP280, and the control of the pressure and temperature registers as well as the data reading operation mode are the same.
The humidity-sensitive element features rapid wake-up and response time, high precision and a wide temperature operating range.
The pressure-sensitive element is a piezoresistive low-noise, high-precision and high-resolution absolute atmospheric pressure sensing component.
The temperature sensing element features low noise and high resolution, enabling self-calibration through temperature compensation for humidity and atmospheric pressure.
The humidity sensor element and the pressure-sensitive element can be independently enabled/disabled. By configuring the sampling rate register, the sampling rate of the sensitive elements can be set. Ideal for space-constrained mobile devices.
