The KSD301 snap disc temperature switch is a automatic thermostat that uses a bimetallic disc as a temperature-sensing element to control temperature, mainly used in home appliances for overheat protection. Normally Closed (N.C): Circuit stays closed under normal conditions; when temperature rises to the activation point, the bimetallic disc snaps to open the circuit and cut off power; when temperature drops back down, the disc resets and the circuit closes again.
Thermal control switch features a bimetallic disc mechanism that delivers quick response and accurate activation, the bakelite housing offers strong heat resistance and electrical insulation, ensuring stable performance through repeated heating and cooling cycles.
Mount the unit onto the heating element surface or near the heat source using screws or clips, connect the terminal pins to your circuit wiring, the disc will snap to open or close the circuit automatically when it reaches the rated activation point.
