This PVC True Union Ball Check Valve is designed to prevent backflow and ensure the proper operation of fluid handling systems. The true union construction allows for easy disassembly without disturbing the existing piping layout, making cleaning, inspection, and replacement simple and efficient.
Inside the valve body, a solid PVC ball moves with the flow. When fluid flows in the intended direction, the ball lifts off the EPDM seat, allowing full-port flow. When flow stops or reverses, the ball returns to the seat, creating a tight seal that prevents backflow. This reliable one-way action helps protect pumps, filters, and other critical equipment from damage caused by reverse flow.
This valve is made of high-quality PVC, is lightweight and easy to install, and is resistant to acids, alkalis, and moisture, ensuring long-term, stable operation even in harsh environments.
Important Installation Note: This valve is designed for vertical installations with flow moving upward. It must be installed with the flow arrow clearly marked on the valve body pointing in the direction of flow. Do not install the valve upside down. (Note: This valve does not contain a spring.)
