The monopolar paktangen is a sterile, single-use instrument available in eight varieties: Babcock, Clinch, Maryland dissecting, straight, rat-toothed, duck-billed, intestinal, and straight fenestrated. Each tong features a rotating insulated shaft and diathermy connector, and is available in two grip styles: handgrip style 1 (no ratchet control) and handgrip style 2 (with ratchet control).
